"Look Good . . . Feel Better" session is slated for April 10.

The Fond du Lac Senior Center is proud to partner with the American Cancer Society to offer the "Look Good ... Feel Better" program to residents in Fond du Lac and the surrounding area.

Guided by a volunteer cosmetologist, female cancer patients who participate in this free program will learn how to use make up and skincare techniques to overcome the appearance related effects of chemotherapy and radiation treatments.

The "Look Good ... Feel Better" session is scheduled for Wednesday, April 10 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Fond du Lac Senior Center, 151 E. First St.

"Look Good ... Feel Better" is offered through a partnership of the American Cancer Society; the Cosmetic Toiletry and Fragrance Association Foundation; and the National Cosmetology Association. A kit of name brand cosmetics and the class is offered without charge to women in active cancer treatment.

For more information or to register for the program, call the American Cancer Society at 1-800-227-2345.
