Competitive races in six municipalities could bring new faces to boards after Tuesday's election.

Nineteen people are competing for 11 open slots in Bellevue, De Pere, Hobart, Howard, Pulaski and Suamico. All other races are unopposed.

The race for the 3rd District alderperson in De Pere is the only one that was preceded by a primary; Kathy Van Vonderen took 43 percent of the vote in February and Bob Heuvelmans earned 36 percent, beating opponent Dean Raasch. ...
