With all the important parties involved in the negotiations to extend Aaron Rodgers' contract in the same place last week, progress was bound to be made.

Rodgers' agent, David Dunn, spent several days last week at the NFL annual meetings in Phoenix, where Green Bay Packers President and CEO Mark Murphy led a contingent that included general manager Ted Thompson, vice president of football administration/player finance Russ Ball and coach Mike McCarthy.
