Police use Taser on unruly Appleton man

Police subdued a 32-year-old Appleton man with a Taser Sunday after he refused to cooperate with officers investigating a domestic complaint at his home in the 3600 block of East Edgemere Drive.

Lt. Gary Lewis said two officers fired Tasers at the man when he charged at them in the basement of the home.

"One was effective, and the other one was ineffective because only one of the two probes ended up making contact," Lewis said. ...
