MENASHA - Faith Technologies was recognized by The Daily Reporter, a construction trade publication, for its work on the 2550 University Ave. Apartments in Madison. The project was on the publication's 2012 Top Projects list. Thirty projects were selected from more than 80 submissions. The winners were chosen by the editors and publisher of The Daily Reporter based on various criteria, including the commitment to sustainable construction, positive impacts on the surrounding area and innovation.

NEENAH - Joe and Amy Ziemba of J. Anthony Jewelers in Neenah recently were honored with a 14 karat gold and diamond pin to commemorate 25 years of membership in the Independent Jewelers Organization.

TOWN OF MENASHA - Miron Construction's Lake Mills Middle School project will be highlighted in a Green Schools exhibition at the National Building Museum in Washington, D.C. The Green Schools exhibition will focus specifically on Lake Mills' geothermal heating and cooling system, which contributes to making the school 45 percent more efficient than a conventional school, yielding a total annual energy savings of more than $85,000.

Crystal Sturgis, a certified physician's assistant at ThedaCare Orthopedics Plus, recently received the Certificate of Added Qualifications in orthopaedic surgery from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Sturgis earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin and her master's degree from the University of Nebraska Health Science Center. She sees patients at ThedaCare Orthopedics Plus in Appleton, New London and Shawano.

NEENAH - Outlook Group Packaging & Printing Solutions, a manufacturer of packaging products including labels, folding cartons, flexible packaging, direct mail, and contract packaging services, was awarded a Recognition of Accomplishment for Food Contact Packaging Safety from the American Institute of Baking International, nonprofit organization that focuses on the safety of the food supply chain.

The Professional Dairy Producers of Wisconsin elected three new individuals to the board of directors: Mitch Breunig, Sauk City; Brian Forrest, Stratford; and Marty Hallock, Mondovi. Professional Dairy Producers of Wisconsin is a dairy-producer founded organization that provides educational programs and services to fellow dairy producers.
