The Midwest tradition of supper club dining is getting its own book.
"Wisconsin Supper Clubs: An Old-Fashioned Experience'' by Ron Faiola (Agate Midway, $35) comes out April 9.
Failoa is the filmmaker who directed and produced the documentatry "Wisconsin Supper Clubs,'' which inspired the book. He offers a tour of more than 50 supper clubs throughout the state organized by region, including destinations as close as Kropp's Supper Club in Mill Center and Mill Supper Club in Sturgeon Bay.
It even answers such burning questions as, "What is it about those relish trays?''
