Most thrift shops offer clothing and other merchandise at affordable prices while keeping items from reaching landfills, but by doing business with not-for-profit organizations like Goodwill of North Central Wisconsin, thrift shop donations and purchases can go a lot further.

When for-profit thrift shops sell items, the profits go directly to the owners. However, when items are purchased from a Goodwill NCW store, the money goes toward sponsoring a variety of programs and services throughout local communities.
