Every dog has its day and for all Oshkosh Area Humane Society dogs 40 pounds and over that day is Saturday, April 6. OAHS is hosting Big Dog Saturday & Itty Bitty Critters from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 1925 Shelter Court, Oshkosh. Dog adopters will receive a 50 percent saving on the adoption fees of dogs 40 pounds and over once their application is approved. The savings only apply to applications received on Saturday.

Thirty percent of the dogs OAHS sees are purebreds. The others are mixes of two or more breeds, so you might find all the breeds you like best blended into one dog. All OAHS dogs are spayed or ...
