Breast cancer patient undergoes three clinic trials at once (with video)

It took months of treatment to get rid of the breast cancer that invaded Phyllis Burclaff's body, including a mastectomy, chemotherapy and radiation therapy.

Burclaff, 53, of Wausau learned she had the disease in November 2011 and is technically in remission now. But she considers herself cured.

"It's over," she said. "It was very treatable. It was seven months of yuck, and I'm not going to let it take over my life and live in fear." ...
