New York hotel installing high-tech toilet with remote controls

New York's Kitano Hotel hopes to flush away its competition with fancy toilets.

By month's end, the 149 rooms at the Japanese-owned lodging will have a "washlet" from Japanese firm Toto. It promises "maximum cleanliness" with heated seats, warm-water rinsing, dryer, cleansing wand, air purifier and remote control.
