The appointment of a new sheriff in Dodge County is expected sometime this week.

Interim Sheriff Blaine Lauersdorf said Sheriff's Lt. Patricia Ninmann and former detective Robert Neuman were interviewed by Gov. Scott Walker last Wednesday and emerged as the top two finalists among a field of 14 candidates in the search to serve out former Sheriff Todd Nehls' unexpired term.

Ninmann is currently a lieutenant in the Patrol Division. ...
