Marian University will be hosting the 6th annual Dr. Darold A. Treffert lecture series entitled "Help is on the Way!" This presentation will be held on Tuesday, April 16, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Stayer Center Auditorium.

The presentation will focus on Agnesian HealthCare's introduction of The Agnesian Autism, Behavior and Communication Center, a regional center to evaluate and treat children and adults with autism, behavioral concerns or communication difficulties. There will also be a discussion of newer diagnostic techniques; useful interventions in these conditions with a focus on strengths, rather than weaknesses; and a detailed description of this new service by Agnesian HealthCare behavioral health professionals; Dr. Matt Doll, Dr. Sarah Arnold, Dr. Teresa Davenport, Janet Martin OT and Renee Allen SLP.

The presentation, co-sponsored by Marian University School of Education, Kappa Delta Pi- Alpha Delta and the Agnesian HealthCare Doll & Associates, is free and open to the public. Walk-ins are welcome, but pre-registration is appreciated. Registration is available online at: http://www.marianuniversity.edu/treffertseries/
