One woman is dead following a one-vehicle rollover crash on Interstate 39 in Waushara County Saturday morning.

Mayra Isabell Davila, 23, of Marshall, died in the crash in the town of Coloma, according to the Waushara County Sheriff's Office.

Preliminary investigation shows that a Lincoln sports utility vehicle was southbound on Interstate 39, about one mile south of State Highway 21, when the SUV went into the median and rolled. All six occupants were ejected.

Davila was pronounced dead at the scene. Three medical helicopters took patients to hospitals in Neenah, Marshfield and Madison, while two other patients were transported by Waushara County EMS to area hospitals.

The five injured individuals remain in serious conditions Monday morning.

Authorities believe alcohol was a factor, but the crash remains under investigation by the Waushara County Sheriff's Office. The Wisconsin State Patrol is doing a crash reconstruction.

The highway was closed while authorities investigated the crash and reopened to traffic at 12:38 p.m.

Also assisting at the crash site were Coloma and Hancock fire departments, Marquette County Sheriff's Department, Waushara County Highway Department and the Wisconsin Department of Transportation highway division.
