Incumbents Rayome, Lee re-elected to Wisconsin Rapids School Board

The Wisconsin Rapids School Board will remain the same for another year after district voters re-elected incumbents Mary Rayome and Anne Lee during Tuesday's election.

Rayome garnered 2,160 votes, or about 30.6 percent, while 2,046 voters cast their ballots for Lee, according to unofficial Wood County vote tallies. Results from the Portage County town of Grant were not available as of deadline. Votes will remain unofficial until the district finishes verifying the ballots next week. Challenger Jim Scott of Grand Rapids garnered 1,912 votes or about 27.1 percent.
