The Milwaukee Brewers looked a lot like last year's team in their 5-4, 10-inning victory over Colorado to open the 2013 Major League Baseball season.

There was solid, but not spectacular, starting pitching; a blown ninth-inning lead; manager Ron Roenicke pushing runners around the bases; and a never-say-die attitude that nearly got the team into the playoffs last year after it appeared dead in the water.

But the question remains, is this Brewers team better than the squad that finished 83-79 a year ago? While Monday's win didn't particularly demonstrate it, there's a better chance than not ...
