Pulaski School District leaders won't know until later this week whether they can move forward with plans to improve schools, after a referendum question asking to borrow $4.4 million passed by just seven votes.

Unofficial results from Tuesday's referendum show a question asking for the funding was approved by vote of 3,046 for and 3,039 against. Funds would be used to pay for a variety of building repairs, better security at elementary schools and safety improvements for aging middle school bleachers.
