Open house for YWCA childcare program
The YWCA Green Bay-De Pere Child Care and Learning Center will hold an open house from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, April 8, at its facility in downtown Green Bay, 230 S. Madison St.
Families can learn about the childcare program, tour the center and meet the teachers and staff. Refreshments will be provided.
The YWCA Child Care and Learning Center provides state-licensed care for children ages six weeks to 6 years old. The center's Camp Downtown program offers summer care for children ages 5 to 12. YWCA also is a collaborative partner with the Green Bay School District for its 4-year-old kindergarten program, and before- and after-class care is available.
Children in the childcare program participate in free weekly swimming lessons and play swim. Also, new full-time families who enroll in the program receive a free one-year YWCA Fitness Center/Aquatic membership.

Auditions on Monday night for 'South Pacific'
St. Norbert College Music Theatre in De Pere will hold auditions Monday, April 8, for its June production of "South Pacific."
The auditions will start at 6:30 p.m. at Abbot Pennings Hall of Fine Arts on campus, 315 Third St. Show director Alicia Birder is seeking three female and six male actors ranging in age from 18 to 60 to fill roles.

De Pere Photo Show on Wednesday night
De Pere Historical Society will hold its next Photo Show from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 10, in the auditorium at West De Pere High School, 665 Grant St.
Admission is free. Attendees are encouraged to bring old photos of the De Pere area to share during the show.
A social will be held afterward. Punch, cookies and Seroogy's candy will be provided.
