Rohrer wins squeaker over Olson

With all 42 Manitowoc County units reporting, the race was too close to call at press time between Mark Rohrer and Steve Olson for a six-year seat as Manitowoc County Circuit Court.

Rohrer, Manitowoc County district attorney, had 8,132 votes or 50.06 percent of total votes cast while Olson, a private practice attorney and part-time municipal judge, had 8,111 votes or 49.94 percent.

Manitowoc County Clerk Jamie Aulik said as long as the two men's final vote totals are within 0.5 percent, the loser is entitled to a free recount. If the margin of victory is greater than 1/2 percent but less than 1 ...
