Prevea Clinic Inc., which provides health care services in northeastern Wisconsin including Sheboygan County, has settled a case in which it was accused of submitting false Medicare claims.

According to a press release from the Office of the United States Attorney in the Eastern District of Wisconsin:

The complaint alleges that Prevea submitted false claims to the Medicare Program for the services of an assistant surgeon during neurosurgery procedures between Jan. 1, 2005, to Nov. 20, 2010. ...
