Things to know about hiking Rib Mountain:

→Original walking paths constructed in 1930s.
→Mountain offers 1,600 acres, 13 miles of hiking on 9 marked trails.
→Trails are unpaved, woodchip covered on both sides of the mountain. One paved trail that parallels the road leading up Rib Mountain is located on south side.
→Trails range from 1/2 to 3 hours in length. Varied difficulty.
→Hours are 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
→Pick up a trail guide from the ranger station.
