April 4, 1935 - Nicolet seniors begin plans for graduation: Graduation plans soon will be formulated by the seniors of Nicolet high school. A preliminary discussion of the nature of the exercises was held by class members yesterday, and the president, Sterling Schoen, was authorized to appoint a committee to begin work for the day of graduation.

Members named by the president to arrange the program are Myrtle Francken, Ellen Turriff, Sterling Schoen. Those named to formulate the class motto are Ceil Fruzen, Jack Zimdars, Geraldine Guerin; those to select the class flower, Patricia Vande Castle, Dorothy Van Sistine, Kenneth Beach; those to select the class colors, Carl Sturdevant, Jane Bakken, Robert Woodward.

The date of graduation will be May 28 or 29, it is announced.
