Tauscher: Tarras views sports and faith as friendly allies

Those who say sports and christianity have nothing in common will get one strong argument from North Central Wisconsin's area Fellowship of Christian Athletes representative Jeff Tarras who insists the two actually are made for each other.

"Sports has always stressed building character through fair, competitive play, team work and good sportsmanship that athletes can then carry over to their future life endeavors," Tarras stated. "Which is in exact concert with FCA's goal of building that same kind of character but through one's faith."
