Kindergarten students at Webster Elementary School didn't start the day simply reciting the alphabet and numbers.

They did so while jumping on a trampoline, singing, bouncing balls and drawing.

The idea is to tap their creative side as they learn. The Green Bay School District school will extend that practice to all students next year as part of a new ArtSmart program. Webster Elementary will be an integrated school of the arts, with art, music, theater and movement infused throughout its 4-year-old kindergarten to fifth-grade curriculum. ...
