Tax dollars should support public schools

Dear fellow residents: Most of us want thoughtful decisions made about the use of our tax dollars. If you share this feeling, consider the following questions:

? Should tax dollars be given to schools that aren't obligated to enroll all children of taxpayers living in our community?

? Should tax dollars be given to schools not held to the same accountability standards established by our state legislators for all public schools?

If your answer is no to both or either of these questions, then let your legislative representative know that you do not support using tax dollars to fund the voucher proposal included in the governor's state budget.
