The gym floor was transformed into a sea of magical colors for the Annual Spencer FFA Easter Egg Hunt. What took about one-half hour to spread the eggs out, took about five minutes to be claimed by eager Easter egg hunters. Eggs were also spread out in the school cafeteria and the front hallway.

One year ago, the kids were outside gazing over the village park where thousands of Easter eggs lay. They would soon be on their merry way, hunting for those special eggs.

Fast forward one year. That scene was not to be repeated. Piles and piles of snow were in the way. The Spencer FFA always has a backup plan. They simply moved to the high school and scattered the eggs all over the floor.

The annual Spencer FFA Easter Egg Hunt would go on, with 3,704 eggs were plastered across the floors of the front hallway, the cafeteria, and the big gym. Children of all ages filled the bleachers with their parents ...
