The Central Wisconsin Nature Foundation seeks donations of metal zippers and colored soda can pop tops to be used for creating jewelery to be sold at the Rome Environmental Fair. All proceeds will go toward building a nature center in the town of Rome.

The Central Wisconsin Nature Foundation is a nonprofit, tax-deductible organization dedicated to educating the public on the importance of preserving our environment in a friendly hands-on atmosphere. Currently, the foundation is partnered with the town of Rome and the Wisconsin River Power Co. in stewardship of Twin Lakes Nature Preserve, on Highway Z, north of Aniwa Court, on Lake Petenwell, in Rome.

Donations can be left at the Rome Municipal Building or at Lake Sherwood Lodge on Queensway in Rome. With questions, call the foundation at 715-741-0741.
