Sevastopol/Gibraltar's goal this high school girls soccer season is to score more goals and win more games than it did last year.

The Pioneers were shut out eight times and held to just 13 goals in 18 games in 2012. Subsequently, they finished 1-17 overall and 1-13 in the Packerland Conference.

On paper, and based on coach Chad Retzlaff's early observations in practice, the Pioneers should be much better this season. They return 10 players, including nine starters, from last year. ...
