A surge of new retail outlets has led Horizon Group Properties to announce a major facelift for the Outlet Shoppes at Oshkosh that will be completed by early summer.

Horizon Group CEO Gary Skoien said the facade renovations and new sitting areas spread throughout the center will be the first exterior improvements since the shopping center first opened in the early 1990s. The project has an estimated cost of about $1 million.

He said the upgrade is overdue and in demand by some of the larger tenants the center has landed in recent years like Nike, Brooks Brothers, Coach and Under Armour. ...
