Green Bay woman wins contest to guess shipping season's first arrival

Sue Campshure of Green Bay won the annual contest to guess the arrival time of the first ship into the port of Green Bay for the season. The SS Alpena arrived Wednesday at 4:05 p.m.

Campsure guessed Wednesday at 2:30 p.m.

She will receive a prize package including an overnight stay for two at the Clarion Hotel in Green Bay with complimentary breakfast, a $25 gift certificate for a Foxy Lady cruise and a $20 gift certificate from Titletown Brewery.

The contest is sponsored by the Port of Green Bay and Greater Green Bay Convention and Visitors Bureau.
