Student project pays off with Wausau's Amazing Race (with video)

T he roughly 160 people wearing neon green shirts running through the streets of downtown Wausau on Saturday afternoon weren't running a 5K - they were competing in a local version of the popular reality TV show "The Amazing Race."

Wausau's Amazing Race, a task-oriented scavenger hunt, was put together by a team of marketing students at Wausau East High School. Senior Brady Becker, a member of the marketing team, said he couldn't have been happier with how the event turned out, adding that the five months of work and lack of sleep this week were worth it.
