? Veteran broadcaster Brad Heinkel has been named station manager at WAOW Television, the local ABC affiliate in Wausau. Heinkel returns to WAOW after serving as general sales manager at WSAW since July 2010.
? The members of Professional Dairy Producers of Wisconsin elected new representatives to the board of directors, including Brian Forrest of Stratford, to a three-year term. The new board members were introduced March 13 at the 2013 PDPW Business Conference in Madison.
Forrest began working on his family's 60-cow dairy after graduating from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. He took ownership of the farm in 2002, growing the dairy to 140 cows and adding two full-time employees. In January 2012, the dairy entered into a partnership with Maple Ridge Dairy and now has 1,300 cows and 25 full-time employees, with Forrest managing the dairy operations and a majority of the employee administrative duties. He currently serves on the Marathon County DHIA Board.
Matt Eckelberg, CPA, recently was selected to be partner-in-charge of the Marshfield office at Hawkins, Ash, Baptie. Eckelberg has been a partner at the firm since 2011.
Eckelberg joined Hawkins, Ash, Baptie in 1997 as an intern and advanced his career to partner. He has thorough experience in audit and tax services to commercial entities, individuals and profit-sharing 401(k) plans. He has served as a member of the firm's Tax Committee and the Employee Benefit Plan Service Group. In the community, he is a member of the Marshfield Noon Rotary.
? Ministry Health Care has welcomed Kshamata Shalini, M.D., who joined the Hospitalist Department at Ministry Saint Clare's Hospital in Weston. Hospitalists are internal medicine physicians who specialize in caring for patients who have been hospitalized.
A fellow of the American College of Physicians, Shalini has special interest in critical care and hematology/oncology.
? Ministry Health Care has added Leslie LaBonte as the new manager of volunteer services at Ministry Saint Clare's Hospital in Weston.
LaBonte will be responsible for management of a team of more than 150 community volunteers, ages 16 and older, who provide valuable service to Ministry Saint Clare's Hospital, The Diagnostic & Treatment Center as well as the facilities gift shop and coffee kiosk.
? Family medicine specialist David Lange, M.D., has joined the staff members at Ministry Medical Group's Rib Mountain clinic. He joins fellow clinicians Cheryl Mabry, Tina Neuendank and Gina Ramthun in providing family medicine services to people of all ages.
In addition to his practice, Lange serves in an administrative role for Ministry Medical Group as medical director of primary care services in central Wisconsin.
? Todd Hostetler, M.D., an allergist at ENT Associates, had his research featured in the national publication Parents Magazine. His innovative research on food allergies found that adults and children are unreliable at visually identifying most nuts.
Hostetler sees patients for allergy and asthma care in Wausau, Weston, Medford and Antigo through ENT Associates.

? Central Wisconsin Service Corps of Retired Executives Chapter 535 recently elected Nate Norberg as chapter chairman.
Norberg previously was a member of the local SCORE Chapter for 12 years and is well-known in the area, having served as a City Council member and mayor of Marshfield, and as a member of several city committees. The Central Wisconsin SCORE Chapter includes the areas of Wood, Portage, Adams, Clark and Taylor counties, with 24 business counselors.
