Authorities continue fatal crash investigation

Authorities continue to investigate a crash that killed a 41-year-old Wisconsin Rapids man Saturday afternoon.

The man's mother was in the process of notifying family members on Sunday and authorities don't plan to release the name of the victim until this morning, Wisconsin Rapids Police Lt. Kevin Schwartz said.

At 12:31 p.m. Saturday, a man on a bicycle was on the southeast corner of Eighth Street South and Pepper Avenue in Wisconsin Rapids and attempted to cross Eighth Street on his bicycle, Wisconsin Rapids Police Lt. Brian Krzykowski said. ...
