Indoor track and field: Wallenfang leads Preble to 4th straight state title

Jake Wallenfang was named MVP of the meet as Green Bay Preble won its fourth consecutive WTFA Boys State Indoor Championships title on Saturday.

Wallenfang set a school record en route to winning the pole vault with a height of 15 feet, 6 inches. He also took second in the 55-meter dash and ran the opening leg of the Hornets' winning 800 relay team.

Robert Starnes won the long jump for the Hornets with a leap of 21-7 and Seymour's Alex Bloom won the high jump with a height of 6-6. ...
