? Anthony Steffek, litigation associate, has joined the Davis & Kuelthau law firm in Green Bay. Steffek is experienced in federal litigation, contract management and employment-related matters, and mediation. He earned his juris doctorate from Marquette University Law School, and his bachelor's degree from University of Wisconsin-Madison.

? Tom Kosman has joined The Cottages on Golden Pond, a residential care apartment complex in Shawano, as community director for assisted living facilities. Originally from Green Bay, Kosman is a UW-Milwaukee graduate, a certified occupational therapy assistant and a certified nursing assistant.

Achievements

? The League of Women Voters of Door County was recognized by the League of Women Voters of the United States for increasing its membership by more than 15 percent.

? Daniel Balch of Green Bay has qualified for the Court of the Table of the Million Dollar Round Table, The Premier Association of Financial Professionals. Balch is a 15-year MDRT member and a 13-time Court of the Table qualifier.

Awards

? Ryan Stockwell, a 2001 University of Wisconsin-Green Bay graduate, will accept the University's Earth Caretaker Award during the Environmental Management and Business Institute Green Innovations Symposium at UWGB April 24. Stockwell, the agriculture program manager for the National Wildlife Federation, is being recognized for his work developing no-till farming techniques. He lives in Medford.

? Wisconsin Lift Truck was honored by Steel King Industries of Stevens Point with the Million Dollar Dealer, and Top Ten Dealer awards for the 2012 sales year. Wisconsin Lift Truck, with a location in De Pere, has been a distributor of Steel King products for more than 20 years. Cat Lift Trucks of Houston has also recognized Wisconsin Lift Truck as a 2013 Quest for Excellence Dealer of the Year.

? BPM Inc., Peshtigo, was recognized by the U.S. Department of Energy for energy efficiency achievements as a participant in the Better Buildings, Better Plants Program.

? Tony Vanderbloemen, Greater Green Bay Labor Council president and Brown County United Way board member, received the 2013 Ralph A. Jirikowic Award. Vanderbloemen was recognized for his lifetime of volunteering and giving back to the community.

? Debbie Frederiksen, mortgage lender at the Marinette office, and Christine Nelson, human resources and operations assistant in Marinette, both received a Stephenson National Bank & Trust Award of Excellence. Frederiksen was recognized for consistently exceeding customers' expectations. Nelson was recognized for being the go-to person at Stephenson National Bank & Trust.
