The city of Green Bay is accepting applications from college students interested in summer internships in city government.

It is the second year that City Hall is offering unpaid internships so students can get experience to advance their education.

Students can spend their summer working in one of several city departments, including police, fire, public works, finance, law, economic development, transit, parks and planning.

The typical intern spends about 16 hours a week on the job.

Interested students should send a resume and cover letter to internprogram@greenbaywi.gov.
