Voters support Pulaski school referendum: Pulaski voters voiced support for a school referendum separated into four questions seeking upgrades and a new high school pool. The spring election polling place was held at the municipal building April 2, 2013.

A final canvass shows voters in the Pulaski School District approved spending $4.4 million to repair school buildings by eight votes.

The final count from Tuesday's referendum was 3,052 in favor and 3,044 against. Preliminary counts indicated the measure passed by seven votes. Monday's canvass included 11 absentee ballots, school officials said.

A district resident also has requested a recount, which is expected to begin Thursday. ...
