Oshkosh Corp. announces 900 layoffs: Oshkosh Corp. announced it will lay off 900 production and office employees as it prepares for a 30 percent decline in production demand for its Defense products.

Oshkosh Corp. announced today that it would lay off 700 hourly employees and 200 salaried workers this summer as part of an ongoing reduction of its workforce due to declining defense business.

The layoffs are expected to start in mid-June. After the layoffs, the company will employ approximately 2,800 employees in its Oshkosh military truck manufacturing operations.
