Stettin officials said Tuesday they don't want a 150 foot cellphone tower built near Stewart Avenue.

Roughly 30 residents protested for nearly two hours Tuesday a proposed AT&T cell tower during a Stettin Planning Commission meeting and public hearing, citing health hazards and a drop in property values. The Planning Commission unanimously recommended not to approve a permit for the proposed tower, and the town's board will take up the issue in May.
