National champ: Sevastopol had a school assembly Tuesday to recognize swimmer Conner McHugh, who won the 100-yard breaststroke at the YMCA Short Course National Championships last week in North Carolina.

Conner McHugh has added another national title to his impressive swimming resume.

McHugh, a Sevastopol High School junior who swims for the Door County Doorfins, placed first in the 100-yard breaststroke Friday night at the YMCA Short Course National Championships in Greensboro, N.C.

It's the fourth YMCA national title for McHugh. He won the 100-yard breaststroke at last year's short course meet and the 50- and 200-meter breaststroke at the 2012 long course championships. ...
