Two men struck by lightning near Brownsville

Two men working in Brownsville Tuesday afternoon were struck by lightning from a thunderstorm that moved through the area.

Emergency personnel were called to Lomira Drive at 1:40 p.m., according to the Dodge County Sheriff's Department.

The men were working on a front-end loader when the lightning struck, said Dodge County Sheriff Patricia Ninmann. One man was inside the equipment and the other was outside ...
