Leaders of the Oneida Tribe of Indians have called a special meeting for Thursday to consider withdrawing support for a tribal company's waste-to-energy project in Green Bay.
The tribal Oneida Business Committee also could take steps to cut off funding for a court battle with the city of Green Bay over the alternative energy development.
The committee postponed action on both measures on Wednesday, with members saying they want to first huddle with the development firm Oneida Seven Generations Corp., which has been pushing the waste-to-energy gasification project more than two years. ...
