Three of four incumbents seeking re-election to the Oconto City Council were ousted in the April 2 municipal election.

Four newcomers were swept into office by voters described as fed up with discord at council meetings since the election of Mayor Victoria Bostedt a year ago.

They are Sheri Groll, Connie Bickel, Jean Pleshek and Bob LeBreck. Incumbent Marlene Zahn and former council member Joseph Stiloski were also elected. ...
