Ruling expected in Saratoga dairy case

A judge is expected to issue a decision Thursday on whether to order a Saratoga building inspector to sign permits for a proposed large-scale dairy in the southern Wood County community.

On July 26, attorneys for Golden Sands Dairy, owned by the Wysocki Family of Companies, filed a civil case in Wood County Circuit Court asking the court to order Saratoga building inspector Lorelei Fuehrer to issue building permits to the company. The company filed its application for building permits June 6 and met with Fuehrer about the application July 17, two days before the town put in place a moratorium ...
