About 1,800 of We Energies’ Fox Valley customers are without power Thursday morning.

Customers who have been without out power the longest will be a priority for crews Thursday, said Brian Manthey, spokesman for We Energies.

Crews have restored power to 40,000 Fox Valley customers since the spring storm started causing power outages around 2 a.m. on Wednesday, he said.

“We made some really good progress yesterday and overnight,” Manthey said.

Since the second wave of bad weather seems to have skipped the Fox Valley, We Energies is optimistic that full power restoration is possible before Friday morning, he said.
