The National Weather Service in Milwaukee/Sullivan has issued an advisory for ice shoves along the west shore of Lake Winnebago.

Increasing northwest wind, along with melting ice cover on the lake are expected to produce the ice shoves, according to NWS.

Winds of 20 to 30 mph with gust to 40 mph were expected overnight. Winds are expected to diminish tonight.

Property owners along the western shore from Fond du Lac north were advised to be on the alert for ice shoves and to secure properpty.
