An elderly woman sustained minor injuries when a duplex near the U.S. 151 Bypass and Fourth Street Road exploded shortly before 5 a.m. Thursday.

The woman lived in a home adjacent to the home that exploded at 340 Twilight Trail. She was transported by ambulance to St. Agnes Hospital where she was treated and released, a Fond du Lac Fire Department spokesman said.

Fond du Lac Assistant Police Chief Steve Klein said the dispatch center received several calls from residents reporting an explosion near Holy Family Catholic Community Parish at 4:55 a.m. Thursday. ...
