WASHINGTON - Sen. Ron Johnson is among a group of Republican senators who are threatening to prevent gun control legislation from reaching the Senate floor for a vote.

In a letter The Wisconsin Republican was one of 13 GOP senators to sign a letter sent Monday to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., vowing to "oppose the motion to proceed to any legislation that will serve as a vehicle for any additional gun restrictions."

The letter was initiated by Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky. On Tuesday, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., added his name to the group. ...
