Oshkosh school board votes to preserve administrator jobs, salaries

The Oshkosh school board unanimously voted Wednesday to remove cuts to administrator jobs and salaries from a prioritized list of school budget reductions.

The board on Wednesday reversed a vote last month to eliminate one principal, cut hours for middle school deans and reduce scheduled raises for administrators. Instead, the board will preserve those jobs and raises while dipping further into reserve funds to close a budget hole estimated to run as deep as $3.5 million.
