Letters: President Obama remains in campaign mode

6:26 PM, Apr. 10, 2013  |  Comments

The President plans to raise $50 million dollars for Democratic Congressmen to defeat Republicans in 2014. The goal is to switch the Republican House to the Democrats and the leadership to former Speaker, Nancy Pelosi. Then President Obama will have free sailing to implement his "transformation of America" - in other words - a European Socialist country.

Now the President has to give the appearance of seeking a bipartisan deal by giving dinners for Republican Senators in hopes they may join him in a deficit deal. Does he really want a deal? No matter what happens with the federal budget, the deficit or another fiscal cliff, the President will continue to blame Republicans.

We cannot go on spending more money than we take in. The money has to come from somewhere so it is borrowed from China or the government prints more money. Then our money is worth less and it takes more money to buy groceries, gas or pay rent. This really hurts the poor and the elderly. The banks have less money to loan to the private sector as the government gets first dibs on the money in circulation.

When the economy is growing we all benefit. This administration has done everything possible to limit that process. It has imposed more regulations on businesses, prevented new permits in drilling, and forced ObamaCare. The Obama administration has deceived and lied to the American public on many issues. It has withheld information from Congressional oversight committees.

Is there any question of President Obama's vision of America? As conservatives we believe in limited government, lowering taxes- more money to spend, a strong national defense, individual freedoms, the Constitution, and the family. This will restore America.
