The village of Brokaw and the owner of the former Wausau Paper Corp. mill there are in a legal battle over what is happening with the property and how it affects residents.

The president of the company working to sell the former paper mill said he is negotiating with potential buyers who are interested in leasing or purchasing the property.

The village, however, has filed a restraining order against mill owner Brokaw Development LLC - a move that could throw any sale the company is trying to make into jeopardy. Brokaw Development, a division of Niagara Worldwide, purchased the Brokaw property ...
